As I had mentioned in my previous blog post, I had an eye exam on Thursday the 20th which included getting my eyes dilated. I had forgotten how bright everything is after, definitely appreciated my sunglasses. 🕶️ After my exam, I went to Brewed Awakenings Coffee House for breakfast, the library, and then to work. Andrew picked up his Invisalign from the orthodontist on Friday, 21st to align his lower two eye teeth, reduce crowding and to help with vertical alignment. 🦷 On Saturday night, we watched The Gorge. We all thought it was thrilling, had good acting, and interesting plot. It was a balmy 43 degrees on Sunday, spring feels like it’s just around the corner.
Monday, the 24th reached 44 degrees, so excited for spring. ☀️ Monday evening Andrew performed A Cappella in the 2025 GRHS Winter Choir Concert conducted by Jacob Hanson with Sue Hoolihan on piano. They performed Chansons Françaises I. Margoton va t'a l'iau, Ave Verum Corpus, The Music of Living, Lux Aurumque, and Common Threads.
On Wednesday morning, I received my second shingles shot. I went to work and felt fine, however afterwork, I started to feel achy and stiff, both my shoulders hurt, chills, and I felt tired. Thursday, I had everything I could do to get out of bed and get to work. I started to come around later in the evening.
Friday morning, I drove into town and ordered a medium dark roast coffee from Caribou Coffee. I then returned home and spent ~ two hours studying Introductory And Intermediate Algebra Fifth Edition, Bittinger, Beecher, & Johnson. I also updated my TI-84 Plus CE to OS Version 5.8.2.29.🤓
Saturday, Deb came over and we grilled steaks for dinner. Later in the evening we watched the movie Carry-On. We thought it was a bit of a rehashed Die Hard and I also thought it seemed to be a job advertisement for TSA. It was nice to see a movie that put a positive light on a character wanting to become a police officer.
End of blog. Thank you for reading!
