Whew, with the nice weather, the last couple of weeks have felt like we have already experienced summer! The time definitely has gotten the better of me so it’s a two week overview this time. 🙂

04/28/2025 to 05/04/2025 🍀

Monday I was off from work and it was stormy. I visited the library and attempted to drop some items off at the Salvation Army but they are closed on Mondays.

Thursday May 1st, we stopped at the Eagles for the GR Band Burger Bash Fundraiser. 🍔 As the band played Sing Sing Sing, we brought lucky number 568 396 from Logan and walked out like a Boss with a box full of steaks. 🥩 🤩

Saturday, we picked several deer ticks off of Willow and after Tiffany and Andrew brought her for a walk. In the afternoon, we watched Prey.

May the 4th! It was a beautiful 75-degree day. Andrew had an interview and received and accepted a job offer from Caribou Coffee today! First day running A/C. Enjoyed the dock before starting an early workweek.

05/05/2025 to 05/11/2025

Monday was Andrew’s Spring Band Concert. Unfortunately, I had to work. Tiffany really liked Angels in the Architecture by Frank Ticheli.

Friday was spent burning 🔥out the remainder of the two stumps that I have been working on by the road. Hopefully by Monday that job will be completed.

Saturday morning, we drove to Brookston, MN to attend a concealed carry class put on by 3DBLU LLC & Shade’s Landing. I noticed a couple of names that were noted within the course curriculum that were very familiar to me, Bill Lewinski from Force Science and Dave Grossman. Because it was so nice out and I had a few days off, I picked up a case of Miller Lite🍻after we had returned home. I haven’t had a cold beer since December 26, 2024 so I thought I’d unwined and indulge a bit this weekend.

For Mother’s Day, Andrew went in for his first day of work at Caribou; and then after work, met Debra, Kim, Tiffany, Steve, and I, at the Timberlake Lodge for Mother’s Day Brunch. After eating we returned home and put the Sea Doo in the lake. The temperature reaches 88 degrees and I got a little overheated 🥵

End of blog. Thank you for reading!
