Monday, I raked in some grass seed where I had removed a couple of stumps in the yard. It’s been raining on and off the last few days so hopefully it will grow rather quickly. 🤞

I received my iPhone 16 Pro on Tuesday! It was a bit of a struggle to get it set up after work but I managed to work through it. I’ve been really busy, so I haven’t had time to explore all of its features.

Thursday, I drove to Duluth for work and took Haines Rd from Miller Hill into West Duluth. I have never taken this route before and was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful view as you descend into the area.

Sunday, we woke up to a beautiful sunrise and then we got an early start and went to Duluth for Father’s Day. We explored the Skyline Parkway. There are a lot of beautiful and interesting homes along the Skyline area. We drove around the Twin Ponds and noticed a lot of mountain bikers riding on trails. Unlike the morning weather in Grand Rapids, the weather in Duluth was very overcast, cool, and not ideal for sightseeing and walking but at least it wasn’t raining and we were able to make the most of it.

We ate breakfast at The Boat Club Restaurant. Tiffany ordered a cup of clam chowder, Andrew the Swedish pancakes, and I, a three-egg omelet. Andrew liked his pancakes and Tiffany liked her chowder. We discovered Duluth’s Best Bread while exploring Superior Street. We purchased a loaf of sourdough bread and two delicious looking caramel rolls. We made our way to Canal Park eventually walking and shopping around for a while we ate at Northern Waters Smokehaus. Andrew had the Northern Bagel, Tiffany tried Cajun Finn, and I tried the Italiensk. We will be making a return trip to try other selections.
