On Wednesday, Andrew signed up for PSEO classes at Minnesota North College. 📚

Thursday after work, we listened to Andrew play in the Coleraine City Band, established in 1907 and directed by Dave Meyers. They performed in the Thomas Patnaude City Band Gazebo located within Longyear Park, Coleraine, MN. The band played a number of selections including Variations on a Korean Folk Song, Tripwire, Castles in Europe, Fidler on the Roof was the musical performance, and Stars and Stripes.

Friday June 20th was the astronomical first day of summer in the Northern Hemisphere -
Summer Solstice! 🌞
Friday night into Saturday morning, we had some storms roll through, fortunately all we heard was a couple of hail impacts on our roof and then it passed by. I am really concerned about the number of tall trees we have right next to our house and driveway. As of this blog post, we have thirty-nine total Pine trees lining both sides of our property. They are mostly Red Pine with a couple of White Pines mixed in. We have fifteen pines lining our southwest property line, thirteen on our northwest property line, and eleven on our east property line. 🌲
On Saturday my Uncle Pat Keating, from Minot, ND, stopped by to visit. Kim also came over and we were able to enjoy being in Pokegama for the first time this year. The sun was out for a while and I ended up with a sunburn. We then went to
Fuji Japanese Restaurant for dinner, I had the Captain America Roll, Tiffany had the Lucky Lady Roll, Andrew had the Alaska Roll.

On Sunday, we again had Pat and Kim over for barbeque and lake time, unfortunately the weather was overcast and a bit choppy. It was nice to be able to spend time with family over the weekend and enjoy the lake.
End of blog. Thank you for reading!
