It has been a very quiet week so I thought I would share my presence on the block chain. This has also served as a housekeeping exercise in collecting, organizing, and an overall better understanding. My blockchain-based digital collectables collection is small; in fact, I have exactly two NFTs and one POAP that are meaningful to me and enjoyable to share. At this time, I have three non-custodial hot Ethereum wallets, a hot Coinbase custodial wallet, and a POAP account that is connected to my Rainbow Ethereum wallet. My very small POAP collection is on the Gnosis Chain that is a layer-2 blockchain solution built on Ethereum.
My brother, Jamie Thingelstad, created a POAP which he made available to claim from him in his blog post IndieWeb is Punk Wear It. This all started with Jamie's blog post IndieWeb is Punk. So, on Monday, I sent an email to officially request a claim code on behalf of my site for a Punk POAP. I knew immediately www.iKeating.com must have this POAP because it is definitely certifiably IndieWeb Punk!

The NFT that I have is from the Inspiration ④ mission that launched in 2021 and was the first orbital spaceflight with only private citizens aboard Crew Dragon Resilience. The crew members for Inspiration ④ were Jared Isaacman, Sian Proctor, Hayley Arceneaux, and Christopher Sembroski. The NFTs were sold as a fundraiser for St Jude’s Hospital and ultimately ended up raising approximately $243 million dollars.
