On Monday, Andrew and I used an automotive window punch, screwdrivers, hammers, and brute force to disassemble an old French door that back in June 30th of 2022 Willow ran through ๐ฟ๏ธ. We then brought both of our lawn mowers and a weed eater powerhead into Ace to be serviced. Getting things done๐ ๏ธ
A little after midnight, early Tuesday morning, Andrew left for George N. Parks Drum Major Academy in Bolder, CO. After arriving, they were quartered on campus and immediately began field training. The academy lasted through Friday. After graduation, they got to visit Estes Park, CO before heading to the Denver airport to return home. ๐ซ๐ซก๐ฅ๐๏ธ๐ฌ

Tuesday afternoon, While driving home after work, I noticed the moon seems to be very low south of the equator. I also noticed the lack of moon light last week while I was taking night sky pictures with my iPhone despite the fact that the moon was up. Wednesday morning I found this article from
Kare 11 that talks about the moon's maximum declination. I then learned that the moon is near its maximum declination. How cool is that! ๐
After having a break over the fourth, it was a work week that included the weekend. Deer River had their Wild Rice Festival so I spent some time there.
End of blog. Thank you for reading!
