Monday, I dropped my computer glasses off at the optometrist’s office before work. I noticed the bottom of one of the lenses was bubbling/disintegrating in a couple of small spots near the edge. This is the second time I have had to return my glasses for lens defects. The first time, both my transition lens glasses and my computer lens glasses both had small cracks in the lens. Hopefully, I don’t continue to have the same issue with these after I get them back again.

Early Saturday afternoon, Tammy arrived and we went for a walk in the Golden State Anniversary Forest. Tammy remembered that it is hunting season and we should be wearing orange, so I made a quick trip back home and grabbed some hunting vests and a blaze orange hat… nice catch on her part.

We then ate dinner at Rapids Brewery, picked up some popcorn 🍿 to go from the Mann Cinema, picked up a couple of items from Target, and then made our way to the Reif for Lion King! 🦁 🦒 Andrew performed in the ensemble as a dancing gazelle and other roles.

Sunday morning, Tiffany made us a delicious breakfast before Tammy left to return home. Andrew had his last performance of Lion King in the afternoon and I was off as well to get an early start to the holiday work week. 🏃‍➡️🏃🏽‍♂️‍➡️🎯

MegaManX

I am currently playing Mega Man X on RetroPie and am really digging Retro-futuristic Japanese Mecha design/Metroid concept art. Japanese mecha design is a sub category of the medium Japanese animation (Anime). Here is a cool link that shows you how to draw the basic shapes of mecha.

Akira Kitamura was the creator of Mega Man and Keiji Inafune (稲船 敬二) was the character designer and planner. Keiji also was the creator of Zero who debuts in the Mega Man X series.
