Monday, I put the septic blanket down on top of our line. I folded it in half when I placed it down, I guess if we think we need to unfold the other half later we can. There is possibility of snow tomorrow and the temperature looks like it will stay cold.
Crazy evening at work on Wednesday, due to the snow storm there was a minor accident by Super One South Foods that took out the power in that area. Both Super One South and Walmart lost power. Unfortunately, it was right when everyone was getting off of work to pick-up last-minute items before Thanksgiving. Due to the two major grocery markets closures, everyone headed to Super One North Foods where I happened to be working. The store was overrun with shoppers and the parking lot was crammed. 😬
Thursday morning, we watched the 99th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Cynthia Erivo from Wicked was a featured guest. We noticed there were a lot of marching bands, we briefly discussed Andrew putting in an application for The Macy's Great American Marching Band.
We spotted another (or the same one from last) Red Cardinal at our birdfeeder. It seems like We are only seeing them after it gets cold and there is a little snow on the ground. Not sure why we are only seeing them now but It’s a treat to see them. Andrew seems to think that there is a nest by us.
We had Thanksgiving dinner with Debra, Steve, Julie, and David at the Timberlake Lodge and Restaurant. I had a cranberry juice that paired nicely with all of the sides that make a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. The food was delicious and everyone had a great time.
