DRPD City Council Meeting, 22Β° Moon Halo πŸŒ”, DRPD FTO, Ottawa Valley Stepdancing πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦

On Monday, I attended a City of Deer River Council meeting at which Chief Evans introduced me to the council. Tuesday, I continued phase 1 FTO.

Wednesday, Andrew took a great picture of a Moon 22Β° Halo. πŸŒ”

Halo

Thursday more FTO, I knew going into this that I would be in over my head at first along with zero days off to get through it. My New Year’s resolution of being present, living in the moment, has helped with having a full schedule. I am definitely feeling a little overwhelmed with having to relearn CAD/RMS along with all the other connections/procedures I need within the city and county. It will just take time and in the end, I will get to work parttime within the Itasca County law enforcement community for a long time to come, along with enjoying living the lake life. Now, if we could only figure out the health insurance problem, I’d be set for life:)

Thursday evening was family fun night! After work, we all met up at home and then went to the Forest Lake Restaurant for dinner. We then went to the Reif and watched The Step Crew. As mentioned in the Playbill, they performed three styles of percussive dance – Irish Stepdancing, Ottawa Valley Stepdancing, and Tap. The Ottawa Valley Stepdancing was my favorite but they were all good and we had a great time taking it all in.

End of blog. Thank you for reading!
