Code Brew, Dock, Sauerkraut, Canon EOS R50, Andrew’s 18th Birthday

I met a nurse, Kristina Watson, who was working a night shift at the Deer River Essentia Emergency Room and learned she owns Code Brew Coffee Shop located within the Northern Star Market Building in Deer River. I’m excited to try her double shot oat milk latte.

I ended my last five shifts feeling really good about myself and my decision to go back full time. I still have a lot to catch up on before I’m hitting 100% but I’m a lot more confident now that I’m back in it. I need to put some thought into what I’m doing with the dive team.

I love sauerkraut and I am really sorry about all the bad things I have said about it. I will never eat another brat or polish without smothering it in Nathans New York Cut Sauerkraut. Turns out Andrew likes kraut as well; he said it is similar to Kimchi.

On Thursday, Dan, Tiffany, Andrew, and I got the dock in.

It was really windy throughout the weekend.

On Saturday, we gave Andrew an early 18th birthday present. Tiffany learned that Photographer Jessica Jetland, owner of https://www.theunrulyshutter.com The Unruly Shutter, had upgraded her camera and was willing to sell us the one she replaced, a Canon EOS R50.

Sunday we had Debra, Steve, and Kim over to have an early birthday party for Andrew!
